For Desserting the Center, participants are invited to help vacate the contents of Jessica Hyatt’s Signature Ramekin. The center is not actually consumable, it is an illusion of Jessica Hyatt’s Signature Dessert. Once removed, the illusion should be reconceived in any form the participant chooses, and placed back in the center.
Jessica Hyatt lives and works in Chicago IL. She has an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. She has worked at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA, the Rose Art Museum in Waltham, MA, and currently works in education at the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been shown in Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; and London, England. It has been distributed throughout the United States, and in Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Great Britain, Canada, Germany and Vietnam.
