Society of Smallness — April 26, 2013

Clutch Gallery is a 25-square-inch space in the heart of Meg Duguid's purse. The gallery was dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art of all media.

Clutch opened in 2009. Duguid maintained regular programming for two years, she then decided to lend her favorite accessory to other curators. Clutch has been lent to Emma Robbins (January-July 2012), Paul Hopkin (October 2012 and May/June 2015), Georgina Valverde (Society of Smallness) (2013-2016), and Tanner Woodford (Chicago Design Museum) (2017).

Clutch was also available for checkout by artists at Hyde Park Art Center in 2020 and will again be available for check out in May and June of 2024 at Lichtekooi Artspace as a part of Impossible Enough to Be an Art Space
